What we teach our children

The boy is awesome. He understands and gets so much. He caught on some medical show a pregnant lady smoking. He said 'that womans pregnant". Yes, she is.
"She shouldn't be smoking, smoking is bad. " That's true, but its always bad to smoke.
"Yes, but its always worse to smoke when you are pregnant." Why is that
"Because when a mommy is pregnant with a baby then the baby copies the mommy"

yes, yes thats true buddy.

Saw my baby today!

I'm 10 weeks along and I was so excited, today was my first ultrasound of this pregnancy.

And everything was perfect. Baby's heart is beating at 167. And he/she was moving. And it was just fantastic.

I love ultrasounds. They have so much power to put the mind at ease. I needed that today. I needed the heartbeat. I needed the little hand waving back in forth. It was amazing. So happy :D

My funny boy

The boy is hilarious.

He was wrestling with his daddy and sister, they do this often. And hubby pulled the boys shirt over his head. So the boy took it off and said "You've been messing with the shell now meet the beef"

how hilarious is that.

I don't even know where he heard that. I love it. :)

my new stuff

so today was all about getting things in the mail. we got my five in
a row thang. which is cool.
we got snuggies. you read that right
i am not a fan.
and we got new phones. hubby got a g1. he loves it. i got the
samsung behold. loves it

Ridiculous

So last night we were supposed to get snow or ice. Did we? No. No we didn't.

When did we get it? At 10 am. What? I don't understand the weather, I think the weathermen are liars, and I'm angry that its the wet nasty rain and not the fun fluffy stuff. Whats up with that???

I hate weathermen/women.
