Can you feel it?

That tingle? The little trill down your back?

What about the flip in your tummy? You know, how you aren't queasy, just a little bit more sensitive, feeling it more there.

Do you have your cards hung neatly on your mantle? Or perhaps clipped on your refrigerator? Are you sporting paper cuts from wrapping paper, or maybe chomping on a cookie. Have you made something, an ornament, a batch of peppermint bark, perhaps something like a gingerbread house?

We have made ornaments for people at our church, some peppermint bark, some cookies, and its all been just amazing.

I love this time of year. We've been adding christmas presents under the tree nightly, just the ones 'from us' of course and the ones from the kids. But its awesome. The girl wakes up and says "there are more presents under the tree mommy!"

magic. its all magic. and tomorrow we will wake and the kids will run out, and so many more will be there. so many more will litter the ground under the tree. the stockings will be full, the big santa gift will be out. Magic.

Christmas.

I am dying here. Christmas is 2 days away. 2 days. I cannot for the life of me figure out how I can wait that long. The gifts we've bought the kids are awesome. We tried so hard to keep it down. So hard. We were just going to buy 2 'toys' then puzzles, pjs, books, and shoes. Sounds great right?

yeah. but then there sales on games for the kids. And then we saw something we HAD to have for one and then had to even it up. And then there were the jerseys. And do you know how many books they are getting? 25. 25 books between the three of them.
BUT its all great stuff. Learning stuff, clothes, pjs, and the toys are awesome toys.

I'm so excited for them all to get to open their stuff.

And of course I'm dying to know what I'm getting.

But I think I am most excited for hubby. I did so well. He is going to DIE when he sees a few of these things. Thoughtful, useful, and so nice.

I will never make it two days. Never.

My brain must have come out

I am seriously all over the place. I FEEL like I have 700 things to do even on days when I only have one. Its crazy. I need a vacation. A LOOONGGGG vacation. Like that will happen. I think half of it is the destructo-phase that the baby is in and half of it is just the season.

Its too funny. I laughed pretty hard, and then got upset. Prop 8 is not only unconstitutional but detrimental to the country and the gay/lesbian subculture.

Where's the Box?

The phrase "outside the box" gets thrown around an awful lot. A good many of my associates like to think themselves rebels against the man I guess. What I don't understand is where that box is. What is the box we are thinking outside of?

With all of the subcultures, parallel belief systems, religions, etc. where is the thinking completely different than everyone else?

Because all I'm seeing is just different 'boxes' from various people.

I will not pretend that I do not think inside a box or two. But I also don't go around pretending my particular box is not one or is less of one than someone elses.
