So in my last blog I said I wanted to do a daily quote. And I do. I think examining the words of history is a great way for me to keep my brain sharp...but I um...ran out of time to do it yesterday, I didn't have my arms free enough of the time that we were not doing other things.
So, to make up for it, I will do two quotes today.
The first...fittingly, will be on time.
"Dost thou love life? Then do not squander time, for that the stuff life is made of."
From Benjamin Franklin, an impressive inventor, thinker, and founding father.
Honestly, I run out of time all the time by procrastinating. I always find ways to put off stuff I don't want to do. Its just too easy today to not do something till the last minute. Especially with kids, they are the best excuse. "Oh...sorry I didn't call, I was taking care of the boy/the girl/the baby" Just too easy. And I want to fix this, be more proactive. But somehow I think doing so will take more than just me wanting to. I have to be willing to do what is needed to change, and honestly I don't know if I am.
